Pune, October 19, 2023, Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten century to lead India to a seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the 2023 Cricket World Cup at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Thursday.

Earlier, Bangladesh got off to a good start thanks to a 50-run opening stand between Liton Das and Tamim Iqbal. However, after the dismissal of both openers, Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals and could only manage to score 256-8 in their 50 overs.
Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah picked up two wickets each for India, while Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur also chipped in with a wicket apiece.
India’s victory over Bangladesh was their fourth in a row in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. They are now unbeaten in the tournament and are sitting at the top of the points table.
